Appointments
WE HAVE AN TELEPHONE TRIAGE SYSTEM IN OPERATION IN THE MORNING. ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE BOOKED BY THE GP FOLLOWING A TRIAGE CALL.
Please note if requesting telephone call from the GP or Clinical team the administration staff will have to take some details regarding the nature of this call, please note this is to enable the clinical team to triage calls in order of urgency. All information remains confidential.
If you are unable to attend your appointment or no longer require it, please let the surgery know as soon as possible.
Rapid Access
We operate a “Rapid Access” system. If you feel you need to be seen urgently or before the next available appointment, please telephone before 10.30 am. You will be phoned by a Doctor or Nurse to be triaged.
If it is decided that you need to be seen that day, you will be invited to a “Rapid Access” slot from 10am onwards. These are short appointments and are not suitable for conditions requiring a longer appointment.
If you phone after 10:30am and require an urgent response, you will be added to the Doctors afternoon surgery list for a phone call that afternoon. In an emergency, the Doctor will be interrupted during surgery.
Surgery Access
The Practice has access for wheelchairs and toilet facilities for the disabled. Some consulting rooms are upstairs, but if you are unable to climb the stairs, your Doctor will see you on the ground floor
